Rex Chapman was a star basketball player in Kentucky in the 1980s before being drafted by the Charlotte Hornets, as their first ever team pick, in the ‘88 NBA draft. Following a successful NBA career, Rex’s start took a turn which included a difficult period through an addiction to painkillers.
